HARIHARA FORT

A mix of adventure, pleasure, peace and enthusiasm is Harihar Fort trek. With almost perpendicular edges the hill looks like a massive rectangular rock, but indeed a triangular prism on which the fort was built. The Harihar fort is famous for its iconic stairway to the top. The idols of the gods and a small pond being the attraction on the top, the pinnacle has iconic views of rich green terrain, Bhaskargad fort, Vaitarna lake, Anjaneri fort, Bhandar Durg and Utwad fort. Known as the hill of Lord Brahma, Brahmagiri is one of the mountains in Western Ghats, Maharashtra. Climbing up the stairways of the cliff, the eyes not only catch the spellbinding views of western ghats but also the cascading rejoin of sacred river Godavari.
